IdeaEval

Terms of Service & Disclaimer

Last updated: 24 June 2026

In short: IdeaEval gives you AI-generated opinions to help you think — not investment advice. Decisions and due diligence are your responsibility.

1. What IdeaEval is

IdeaEval is a software tool that uses AI agents to produce a structured evaluation of a startup idea — a score, a verdict, risks, and suggested alternatives. It is designed to help you think, prioritize what to validate, and pressure-test your assumptions.

It is not a person, an advisor, a fiduciary, or a substitute for professional judgment.

2. Not professional or investment advice

Every evaluation is an AI-generated opinion. It may be incomplete, out of date, or wrong. It does not constitute financial, investment, legal, tax, accounting, or other professional advice, and no advisory or fiduciary relationship is created by your use of the service.

Do not make funding, hiring, product, or other material decisions solely on the basis of an evaluation. Always validate the assumptions independently and consult qualified professionals where appropriate.

3. Your responsibility — due diligence

You are solely responsible for any decision you make and any action you take. Conducting your own due diligence — customer discovery, market research, legal and regulatory review, and financial analysis — remains entirely your responsibility.

You are responsible for the ideas and information you submit, and for ensuring you have the right to submit them.

4. No warranty

The service is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including accuracy, completeness, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. We do not warrant that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that results will be reliable.

5. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, IdeaEval and its operators will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or exemplary damages, or for any lost profits, lost opportunities, or business losses, arising from your use of (or inability to use) the service or reliance on any evaluation.

6. Accounts and credits

Evaluations are paid for with credits purchased as one-time packs. Idea credits are spent to evaluate a new idea; refinement credits are spent to re-evaluate an existing idea. Credits do not expire.

Credits have no cash value, are non-transferable, and are consumed when an evaluation runs. A credit reserved for an evaluation that fails or is canceled is automatically returned.

7. Acceptable use

You agree not to misuse the service, including attempting to disrupt it, reverse-engineer it, resell it, or use it to submit unlawful content or content you do not have the right to submit.

8. Data

We store the ideas and evaluations associated with your account so you can revisit them. We use third-party providers (including AI and payment processors) to operate the service. Do not submit confidential information you are not comfortable processing through those providers.

9. Changes

We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of the service after an update means you accept the revised terms.
